Helicopter Dogsled Tours

Drive your own dog team on real snow; too ‘mush’ fun! Our Anchorage area dogsled tours are suitable for the whole family and available in summer and winter. All dogsled tours include a meet & greet with the dogs, with lots of time for pictures and of course a dogsled ride on real snow, yes even in the middle of summer!

SUMMER – Start your Alaska helicopter and dogsled tour with a spectacular flight over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a snow field high on a glacier and enjoy an hour with Iditarod sled dogs and their mushers. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled tour through real snow and hang out with the puppies. You can stand on the runners and mush your own sled , or relax in the sled and watch the world glide by.

WINTER – In the winter we fly from the Anchorage area to Willow, the sled dog capital of Alaska. The helicopter lands right next to the dog kennel where you spend about 2 hours with the dogs and the mushers. The dogsled ride takes you through the snow-covered trails in the area, with great views of Denali on a clear day. All winter gear is provided.
