COVID-19 UPDATE

COVID-19

Dear traveler,

We are vigilantly monitoring the situation around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) to ensure your safety during our ongoing and future operations. We have gotten the go-ahead from Gov. Dunleavy's office to start tours Thursday, May 14th, 2021 under strict operational guidelines.

As of February 14th, 2021 Gov. Mike Dunleavy has ending Alaska's 14-day quarantine and mandatory COVID-19 negative tests to be presented upon entering the state for interstate travel.

ALASKA IS OPEN!!

For more information please visit the Alaska State Department of Health website HERE.

We care deeply about your safety and that of our staff, so we would like to share some procedures and actions we’re taking to help keep everyone safe. We deep clean our aircraft daily, before the first flight each day. Between flights, we sanitize headsets, seatbelt buckles, door handles, and other areas our passengers may touch during their flight. We do require all passengers to wear a face-covering while in the helicopter and during flight. All passengers will be temperature screened. Alaska Helicopter Tours will provide hand sanitizer on the aircraft and a handwashing station before and after the tour.

Whether you’re at home or traveling, the WHO recommends practicing good hygiene to protect yourself against infection — by washing your hands frequently with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer, maintaining a distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing, and avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. If you become sick, please seek medical attention quickly.

If you display symptoms of COVID-19 you should not travel and we will be flexible in rescheduling your flight with us. In the meantime please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns; we are available 7 days a week to assist you.

Stay safe,

Your friends at Alaska Helicopter Tours
