 GLACIER VIEW FLIGHTSEEING

The Alaska Trifecta! Glaciers, icebergs and amazing alpine views. Three remote landings in one phenomenal tour. If you only have one day in Alaska, this is a tour you should consider.

30 min Glacier View Flightseeing

With a departure from our base in the Knik Valley this tour offers great value for money.  The Knik Glacier pops into view almost immediately after takeoff.  There are views of the Knik Glacier, Colony Glacier, and Lake George with its massive icebergs.

Our pilots know the area like few others, so they can share their unique knowledge of the topography and the local weather patterns and get you to the best “hidden gem” spots safely. Take pictures of the azure blue lakes on top of the glacier, the crevasses and ice ‘sculptures’ made by wind, sunshine, and time.  The Knik Glacier comes down from Mount Marcus Baker, the highest peak in the Chugach Range.  Over 25 miles long and more than 5 miles wide, the Knik is one of the largest glaciers in South Central Alaska. Watch for moose in the river valley, bears in the alpine fields, and goats hanging the cliff sides

This is a great option for those who are looking for a flight seeing option only, allowing the pilot the freedom to create a life long memory of our Alaskan backyard!

Guests to provide Layered clothing with wind & waterproof outer layer, sturdy footwear like hiking boots or athletic shoes, light hat and gloves, sunglasses.
