
PACKRAFTING - PRIVATE TOUR

Experience the Thrill of Rafting Amongst Glaciers
Choose from a 4-5 hour or 6-8 hour tour. You will be dropped off via helicopter at a remote location near the confluence of three different glaciers. Here at the base of the mountains, you will be provided all of the necessary gear to complete your Class 1 float adventure in your very own inflatable raft. This float trip will take you down a remote river between three different glaciers in the South Central Alaska region. Here you will experience a calm float, search for wildlife and take in the mountainous views of Alaska.
Choose a half-day tour up to 4 hours with snacks provided or choose the 6-8 hour FULL day tour with lunch included.
With the full-day tour, you will extend your journey to the confluence of the infamous Lake George at the base of the Colony Glacier.

Who Is This Tour For?
Ages starting at 18 and older. Adventurous people with a moderate level of fitness. No rafting experience is necessary. Alaska has extreme weather conditions and it can change often, guests will need to be prepared to face the Alaskan temperatures for multiple hours.

What to Expect

Scenic Helicopter flight from Alaska Glacier Lodge over the Knik Glacier

Land on a remote gravel bar near the confluence of 2 different rivers

Your guide will assist you in putting on your drysuit and PFD

You will receive a water safety briefing and paddle instruction

Learn how inflate your own personal boat & how to safely get in and out

Spend up to 6 hours floating Class 1 (or calm slow moving) water

Enjoy lunch on the river bank taking in the majestic views

The Helicopter will pick you up miles downstream from the start
What You Need to Know
