What types of events can you accommodate?
We host a range of special moments including weddings, elopements, vow renewals, and milestone celebrations. Whether it’s an intimate two-person experience or a larger gathering, we can tailor the setting to fit your vision.
Can we really get married on a glacier?
Yes. We offer helicopter access to remote glacier and alpine locations where you can exchange vows in one of the most unique settings Alaska has to offer.
How many guests can we bring?
Experiences range from private elopements for two to larger gatherings of up to 50 guests, depending on the location and logistics. For parties over 12 people, please contact us at weddings@alaskahelicoptertours.com
Is the helicopter flight private?
Yes. All wedding and elopement experiences include private helicopter flights, ensuring a more personal, flexible, and seamless experience for you and your guests.
What does a typical experience look like?
You’ll depart from our base on a scenic helicopter flight to one or more remote landing locations. From there, you’ll have time to take in the setting, exchange vows, capture photos, and celebrate before returning.
Can your pilots officiate the ceremony?
Yes. Many of our pilots are ordained and can perform your ceremony at your chosen location for an additional fee.
Do you offer any add-ons or enhancements?
We offer optional touches like champagne and dessert packages, as well as custom landing locations to enhance your experience.
Can the experience be customized?
Absolutely. Every event is tailored to your vision—from location and timing to pacing and overall experience.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
All flights are weather dependent. If conditions aren’t safe, we’ll work with you to reschedule or adjust your plans accordingly.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak summer dates, to ensure availability and allow time to plan your ideal experience.
