Our most popular tour is an unforgettable two-hour helicopter adventure across Alaska’s most iconic glacier landscapes. Departing from the Alaska Glacier Lodge, you’ll lift off into sweeping views of the braided Knik River before soaring over an iceberg-filled gorge and the massive 25-mile Knik Glacier.
This tour features three spectacular landings, each offering its own jaw-dropping Alaskan vantage point. Touch down on a high-alpine ridge with panoramic glacier and mountain views, explore blue-ice formations near towering glacier walls or serene iceberg lakes, and keep an eye out for moose, bears, dall sheep, and cascading waterfalls along the way.
Summer flights include a landing right on top of the Knik Glacier, where you can walk among vivid blue melt pools, moulins, and crystal-clear glacier water—perfect for filling your bottle.
Winter flights swap this for a dramatic landing at the glacier toe or next to a frozen, iceberg-studded lake, offering a breathtaking winter wonderland ready to explore.

Each tour includes an unforgettable landing right on the majestic Knik Glacier, where you’ll hop out of the helicopter and spend about 30 minutes exploring an ancient world of ice with your expert pilot-guide. Walk among brilliant blue melt pools, peer into deep crevasses, and marvel at the otherworldly ice sculptures shaped by sun, wind, and water over thousands of years.
